90'S "SOPHISTRY" PLAYLIST So check this. Here's a sampling of songs that were hot college radio hits during the Spring 1994 to Summer 1995. A lot of these artists became big and made it on their own (and a few were already established). This is just a taste of some great tunes to come out of the early 90's. Do your research and you'll find more wonderful gems. (We feel that New Jack Swing and the new Renaissance of hip-hop and R&B, especially in 1994, aren't really being represented here, but we figured that can be another playlist for another play.) If you listen closely to the lyrics, you just might find the connection with the song to the play. Clever stuff, huh? We didn't want you to think we just threw a bunch of songs together for nostalgia's sake. Okay, maybe that factored in, too. But here it is. Here's what the gang's listening to.
